presents received this year for christmas
thanks to every single one for making this christmas special.
i really did enjoy myself on christmas and i absolutely loveee all the gifts i recieved.
not to mention, my aunts gave me a bag and a princess tag.

well i figured since i got nothing to do now, i shall blog!
my three months long holiday has officially come to an end.
i'm actually three weeks into school already.

i've spent my holidays well honestly.

i went to bangkok with chewy my mum and her mum, which was fun, except for her mum part. HAHA. Well, she wont be reading my blog anyway so i think i'll be safe.

our list of to-buy things whilst we were in BKK

Gotta love the street food. The banana prata with condense milk, the tomyum soup, the insanely good banana fritters,the coconut icecream, the papaya/mango salad, the beef noodles which is damn fucking cheap, the food is just absolutely fantastic! gosh! i can't stop raving.

i think half the time i was there i just kept eating, eating and eating.

even at night, chewy and i will run down to the 7-11 near our hotel to get yakult and collagen drink. and we will get some fruits right across the street too.

our hotel lobby is so grand! i love the hotel we stayed in.
the beds are super comfortable, i slept very soundly for the 3 nights i'm there.
and their service is pretty good too.

I really enjoyed myself at thailand. although i didn't get to go to all the places i wanna go, and i didn't get to pray for a boyfriend, i still had a fantastic time because of the company i was with (and by that i mean chewy and my mum hahahaha)

Its really tough working as a surveyor.

Birthday Celebration with Joey

I like our routine where we will not see each other for months and bomb all our stories at one go over a fancy dinner, or buffets.
Look at the amount of food we ordered.
the buffet ends at 5 and we arrived at 4.50
so we just ordered as much as we can. hahaha
we couldn't finish up some of the food, which ended up as additional charge.
Overestimated ourself too much.
I dont think i'm as good as i was last time at buffets.

When i'm at home, instead of just nua-ing around like some normal people

i'll always end up whipping something up!

i got inspired to cook kimchi stew too.
After getting th recipe, i headed down to tamps 1 korean supermart to get the ingredients.
Imagine my horror, to find that i gotta spend ard$30++ just to cook a kimchi stew

the paste is like 9.90
the chilli pepper is 13++
the kimch is 9++
ohmylord.

decided to cancel my plans of kimchi soup in the end
was complaing to my mum at ntuc abt how expensive the kimchi stew ingredients were, and telling her that i'll find an alternative
when some auntie, who overheard my conversation,
shared with me this cheapo version of korean kimchi stew.
decided to try it out...

and it turned out surprisingly tasty.
mum loved it.
chewy loved it.
i personally loved it too.

until the day i can afford the real kimchi ingredient, this is what i'm gonna be cooking whenever theres kimchi stew cravings! heh :)

i baked durian butter cake too, after being pestered by my mum to do so.
quite nice.
i thought the durian taste was just right.
but my mum say i should put more durian tsk.

a korean variety show,
featuring a "couple" leading a married life.

i start to notice more about this band C.N Blue, the band that Yonghwa is in.

He's the leader, guitarist, as well as the lead singer.

Okay this is what happened.
every thursday when i'm working i'm actually helping to take new stock orders from customers.
so i spied this cool old school khaki sandy brown tunic thats i like very much.
but prior to that i've already reserved this sequined crop top and feel abit paiseh to like buy two tops from my own shop, so i held back.

then in the end stock only left with four pieces- one on mannequin, one i'm wearing, one on the rack and the other at the back.
this uncle came, saw the mannequin one, then looked at me, and said

LAST DAY OF EXAMS

which just passed recently. after our last paper, the five of us cheryl, rocky, jelly, kal and i went to teoheng for some major de-stressing.
As usual the five of us tried our taxi method, but got chased out like dunno how many times.
so we took separate cabs instead. lol

and at the last one hour we played all the clubbing songs, crank up the volume, started jumping crazily on the couch and sing along to the music.
we were damn high

after that we went to Astons for dinner. Cheryl left early so it was only the four of us.
at astons, we overheard the waiter telling the other table that ice water need to pay 30 cents, so when this other waiter came over to take our order and without telling us about the paying thing asked us if we want ice water, we told him playfully that we knew abt the extra charge.
in the end he still give us the water, at no extra cost.

hello earthlings.

i finally have the time to talk/blog/breathe.
Projects are finally all over, which didn't exactly end off like want i wanted.

shit always happen, i must say.
especially when it comes to presentation.
first was econs. all was well until i opened my big mouth and ask teacher how was it. and she said some parts were pretty brief, and that sentence's like stuck in my mind for the entire day.
then OB our video major cocked up. couldn't even play it.
Me being total unglamness in front of the whole class is one thing, the video could not even be played is another. also i got pissed mad at cheryl during the presentation because she got us both distracted, which i apologised after and we hugged and made up which means all is well.
Luckily for us, Mr Kelvin is super super nice, he waited and OT-ed for like 1 hour plus, and even though the video still could not work in the end, he say he'll just give us 0 for our time management. But the marks will still be high.
I'M HOPING IT'LL BE 20 THEN!!

Monday and tues was spent hanging out with my JC classmates. They had a chalet at aloha loyang. which i think is super cool. Its two story high, there's pots and pans, its right outside the pool, i can just run and jump in literally, and its right at the reception area as well. super convenient. we had Vodka Citrus and Vodka Pear as well awesome cheesecake, chocolate cake baked by Andrew. stayed over for the first night. Went to Changi Village to takeaway some food. then played Wii, Indian Poker, then Charade, then Truth or Dare (its mostly dares luh) and we ended up sleeping at like 4ish. Woke up super early for school. finally get to eat my macdonalds breakfast!

second night was BBQ. we went for a swim after that, we played chariot, ice and water (some catching game), monkey, then the drinking game after we all settled down. Drinking game is fun! must intro to the rest next time!! Hansley brought this chocolate alcohol, which i think is super duper nice. am gonna buy it the next time i'm at DFS. overall that two days, i really enjoyed myself. here's some photos to share!

well luckily for me, i called M1 to check what went wrong, and they decide to waive off most of the charges, so i only have to pay $34 instead of $299.

when to support them at NP yesterday! charmaine was filming the whole game and i was beside her and we both have to literally put our fist in the mouth so that we wont scream and shout and disrupt the whole video. hahaha. omgee funny shit.

5. I FINALLY GET TO EAT MY EIGHTEEN CHEF.

We were making a ruckus, especially that cherylele. think she added too much sugar syrup into her ice lemon tea, sugar rush. suddenly super high. laugh until hiccup, then walk over to our side, then wanna walk out dont wanna walk out, in the end make a fool of herself. lol.

i know i've been spamming on milktoof instead of my actual daily life.
but milktoof is simply too irresistible!

So for christmas, had a family celebration as usual as well as one with my secondary classmates.

Christmas gifts this year's awesomeee! I got a scented bath shower gel, a uber cute loofah, perfume, a watch, a awesome hat clip and frilly panties from chewy and handmade gift from rongrong. and not to forget vanessa's suprise gift, eunice's heart shape clips which i use almost everyday and notebook. oh and my iphone as well. *grinsgrins*

class boxing day bbq was ultra hype. chewy and i really took the effort to prepare a feast, and all the food were almost gone at the end of the day, so i'll say its a super successful bbq! its a pity no one brought more booze. we only hada meagre little, not satisfying. Nizam came that day, and it was a bundle of fun to have him there. We played truth or dare and i've never. When you think you know your classmates, play this games, and you'll probably think twice. Nevertheless, we were so engrossed in the game that it was like 2 when we finished.

Would you believe if i told you that i had training in school on new year eve?
well i did.
and because of that i missed celebrating Jialing's birthday. ):
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BTW! haahaha
after training went to watch Sherlock Holmes with chewy and rong. Awesome movie, witty comments were made. thought it was overall an interesting movie. Love loveee jude law and that robert guy.
It was only the three of us this year, welcoming 2010. We wrote notes, threw them into the sea, did some voice recording which was retard to the max, and then cabbed back.
a simple and laidback countdown this year.
